Spurring Others On

Lisa Rice wrote this.

We all have obstacles to achieving our dreams. Some more than others. More importantly, if we look beyond ourselves, there are people we’ll come in contact with who could probably benefit from our encouraging words.

If you know anything about former major league baseball player Jim Abbott, you’re aware that he overcame some incredible obstacles in getting there. The most obvious? Being born without a right hand.

In his interview with Sport’s Illustrated he explains how he tries to encourage others to do the best with what they’ve been given.

Which leads me to ask, who might be spurred on from our words today?

Lisa, nice post. Words do have an impact which can be positive or…negative. What words we choose to use matters. Roll on!
